The model has memory and can distinguish between historical volatility (HV) and implied volatility (IV). A new method is provided to estimate the implied volatility. It is clear evidence that the historical volatility of Straits Times Index(STI) of Singapore Stock Exchange(SGX) is not constant while the volatility parameter ,?, of the Black-Scholes model is assumed to be constant throughout the duration in time t. Furthermore, this model can capture some movement of Straits Times Index (STI) of Singapore Stock Exchange(SGX) reasonably well. |

Respiration of Globefish (Takifugu rubripes)) ผู้เขียน:นายไตรเทพ วิชย์โกวิทเทน, Hiroo Inoue สื่อสิ่งพิมพ์:pdf Abstract The respiration rate or oxygen consumption of globefish (Takifugu rubripe) can be expressed as : R(?) = 0.764Q01(?-20)W0.71 where R(q) =unfed and resting metabolism measured as weight of oxygen consumed per fish per hour (mgO2/hr) at ?oC, Q01 = temperature coefficient for unfed and resting metabolism (1.076), W=fresh body weight in grams. The body weight exponent (?) is expressed as the values of 0.71 whilst the level of metabism at 20oC (?(20)) is 0.764. The respiration of globefish with average body weight 538 g, the value was 87 mgO2/hr. Comparing to other fishes, the respiration rate of globefish was only 1.25% of total cultured fish in Yashima Bay. |

The progressive exertion of OUS of given sediments generally increased with a tendency to taper off with time. Cumulative OUS curve showed a sharp initial increase of oxygen uptake, followed by relatively stable oxygen uptake rates that lasted until the fifth day of incubation. The expression of the curve was proposed to be accomplished by three distinct processes. The first; (A), a basic oxygen uptake phase in which organisms present in the sediments consumed oxygen biochemically with nearly constant rate. |

Primary Productivity of Sea Water) ผู้เขียน:นายไตรเทพ วิชย์โกวิทเทน, Hiroo Inoue สื่อสิ่งพิมพ์:pdf AbstractThe Steele’s equation was applied for estimation of primary productivity of sea water from fish culture area in Yashima Bay and expressed in the term: where P=Production rate per unit surface (mgO2 / m2hr), P(a)max = maximum production rate based on chl-a (mgO2/mg chl-a hr), chl-a = chlorophyll-a concentration (mg/m3) , Kd = extinction coefficient (m-1), i0 = incident light at the sea surface (klux), iz = light quantum at depth z meter (klux), imax =maximum light intensity that gave maximum production rate (klux). The extinction coefficient was evaluated from the equation: Kd = 0.06 + 0.060(SS) + 0.015 (chl-a)+ 0.002(CODd) where SS=dry weight of suspended particulate matter (g/m3), CODd = chemical oxygen demand of dissolved organic matter in sea water (g/m3). Day rate intergrals were calculated according to the equation based on the summation of rates of short intervals Thus, the primary productivity in Yashima Bay was 7.40 gO2/m2d with the values of P(a)max as 65.5 mgO2/mg chl-a hr and imax 50.5 klux. |
